Today we completed our adoption classes and now there is just a few more inches of the red tape until the adoption is complete for our two "accomplices". This is the best Christmas present I could ask for.

Tonight as I braided my daughter's hair we were watching "Sound of Music" she fell in love with the singing and the children. I am glad she has the opportunity to see this movie. I did not see this great movie until I was in my twenties.

Betsy has made it her mission to educate me in the finer movies of the past...somehow I have missed the classics "What a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th St." , "Bells of St. Mary" and numerous others. I am happy to say I saw "White Christmas" this year and am a better person for it...We watched it as we wrapped presents and I hope we can make that a tradition every year.

I was wondering if I would be the only person to read my ramblings. I have odds and ends that drift in my head all day, and this could be the perfect outlet for me..
